Cozy Coffee Table Styling
Even though it’s now May and the warmer weather is coming (I hope)… we have a ways to go until it’s considered t-shirt weather here. So while we patiently wait for the warmer evenings we are still enjoying our cozy, snuggled-in movie nights. There is nothing that adds instant cozy like a few candles on a cozy coffee table. This is how our coffee table has been looking in our living room lately… a sad little coffee table, not very cozy at all! Time to fix that!
If you’ve been following me for a bit, you know that vintage is my jam! 🙂 I love the character and the story of a piece, I also love reinventing how I use the lovely vintage treasures I find! This “tray” is the cover off of an old cheese box, I think it makes a perfect tray, it contains vintage books and candles and it’s a great place to hide those pesky remotes for the TV. I also LOVE to buy the bases from oil lanterns, I use them as vases, they’ve held feathers, I even use them empty because they are so darn cute!
Initially, the round tray was the only thing I was going to go with on the coffee table… but it just looked a little empty to me. I’ve added a second crate and that seems to have balanced the table nicely. I decided to mirror the oil lantern base and added a succulent faker. Our living room is the darkest room in the house, I’d LOVE to have real plants in here, but they just don’t do very well. I’ve added in more candles and some matches (grouping things in odd numbers) and that’s it, simple and cozy!
Thank you so much for stopping in, I hope you’ve enjoyed our cozy coffee table styling? Do you have cozy items on your coffee table too, I’d love to hear all about it. Please join me on Instagram and let me know your thoughts. xo
Now please join in with my friends and their May cozy ways.
