The warm sun made these beauties so happy!

It’s the first Saturday of the month and this time I’m all, WHAT?! March, how did you get here so fast? I didn’t even hear you coming!!! Don’t sneak up on a girl like that, sheesh!  Don’t get me wrong though, I’m so happy to see you! One month closer to Spring! YAY! DIY Spring with Hyacinth Bulbs

DIY Spring… yep, that’s not a type-o! I am determined to bring Spring into our home even though outside is NOT cooperating! I am pretty happy with how this super easy DIY has turned out, it’s so crazy simple!!!  I can’t believe this is the first time I’ve ever tried forcing bulbs.

Here is my super “profesh” video… *** Sarcasm***

A couple of things to note… The way I say hyacinth… try not to laugh too hard. And it basically just abruptly ends, ya like I said a profesh video! hahaha

What is that quote? Done is better than perfect? Ya, that’s exactly what I was going for, done. 😉 Besides the bulbs are totally are perfect, that’s all I needed. Swoon!

Hyacinth Bulbs – Photo Shoot

And then, like every “normal” person would… I proceeded to do a photo shoot of the growing flowers – I may have taken way too many! Can you blame me though?! SOOOOOO pretty! 

A completely normal activity when winter is acting like a jerk, right?!  Goodness, I think this season is actually making me a bit crazy! hahaha

I LOVE that Spring flowers are happily growing in that glorious sun and the fireplace is going full tilt because it’s freezing outside! Now this is what I call cozy!

Do you force bulbs?

I hope you DIY some Spring in your home too, especially if your winter is feeling extra long like ours is here.  I’d love it if you tag me on Instagram if you try this technique… I’m not a gardener, so I’m probably breaking ALL of the gardening rules! 😉 I do know I love how this little Spring “hack” is making me feel hopeful and renewed – I think I’ll make it until all of the pretty garden blooms are happening outside too. AND, I will be planting some of these early bloomers in my garden this year too, a new favourite for me! Shhh… don’t tell the peonies!

I’m so glad I stumbled across these at Walmart, I must go back and get more. I dare you not to fall in love too!
