Happy Valentine’s Day! <3

This is our first post, thought I would launch the site with a Valentine tribute to my Mr. Mans…

June 17th, 1989, our wedding day…

Keep in mind this was the 80’s and poofy was the style! 😉 Kissing my husband for the first time!

Our first dance as husband and wife! xo

Awwww, so young and sweet! Neither one of us is perfect, far from it! Like all relationships we’ve had our good and bad times… The constants in all of these years, our respect for each other, our ability to put our selves second to the other, our ability to forgive and forget and build from scratch, to compromise and communicate to the other what each of us really wants and needs. To listen…

I’m not sure why we are so fiercely protective of our relationship, it may be the countless tours of duty, it may be the fact that we almost lost Bud to a terrible ATV accident, it’s best to not question where this deep feeling comes from… We both know that this life is but once and we both know that together we are better than apart!

Do we have a formula for marriage? No, but this seems to work for us.

We laugh with, at and for each other every day!

He was so happy with his yard sale finds this day, I still laugh at how he didn’t negotiate at all!

I watch Hot Rod TV and the UFC and he watches RomComs and the Notebook with me… We build together, and create together… He’s my very best friend in the world and I would not change one thing about who we are, flaws and all!
