Happy April Friends! We don’t have any buds popping up in our garden just yet (hello Canadian winters) but, it’s starting to feel like Spring, and that is cause for a little celebration! And being the styling nerd I am, I like to celebrate with some vignettes! 😉 Anyone else?

Spring Cabinet Styling – cozy
There was just something so very charming about this Monk when I came across him while out thrifting! He just makes me smile!
I love the fact that I can find so much pleasure in simple and imperfect things, it speaks directly to me if things are a bit worn… kind of used or chipped. Just like people I guess. Perfect to my vintage loving heart, just doesn’t belong in my home.
This antique cabinet is also very imperfect… it was a gift to myself for my 50th birthday! It’s one of my favourite pieces.
Layers of favourite items gathered together help to create cozy Spring vignettes…
I’m so happy that my dried peony wreath on a DIY copper ring is still holding up so well, even after a few years… if you’d like to see how I made this you can see that here. Pink and green seem to be my Spring colours, I’m kind of loving it!
This little bird eggcup caught my eye, the same day Mr. Monk did… cute, right? They both obviously came home with me and are treasured again. The simplest things are often the best things, don’t you think?
Cozy Living Team
Thank you so much for stopping in – I’m hoping your garden is showing all the pops of colour, I’m pretty excited to get out there this weekend and maybe do the Spring clean… although, right now it’s snowing! DOH!
Now on to positive beautiful thoughts… Like, my talented cozy loving friends. Looks like they have been up to some awesome creativity once again, can’t wait to see all the details!!! x0

It’s beautiful, Laurie! I love all of your cozy little vignettes. That cupboard is a great find and a wonderful gift to yourself! Have a great weekend! ~ Angie
I have to agree you’ve scored the perfect birthday gift to yourself, it’s just stunning and I love that it’s made from real wood nothing faux. Those pieces are so hard to find anymore. Nothing sprouting from the soil here in Michigan yet either 🙁 I’m hoping to see something this week though with our temps rising.
Your styling gets me every time! Your collections are always so beautifully curated. I’m swooning over that cake stand!
Your cabinet is a beauty, Laurie…and full of wonderful goodies for spring! I love the pink, green, and white combination! The peony wreath is so charming!
I second what Amanda said about the cake stand! You always have the best collections and vintage pieces. You could easily be a professional vignette designer in people’s homes!
Drooling over some of your collected treasures!!! The jadeite and milkglass — sigh!!! So beautiful!!
How I love that beautiful cabinet and the contrast the green provides – both plants and vintage items. I always love to see your beautiful styling. xx
